Our Story
About 9 years into our marriage, we were on the verge of a divorce.
Years of missing each other, miscommunication, unmet expectations, and the sinking feeling that this was never going to get better left both of us wondering if we had made a mistake.
But then God used all of that for good!
With His guidance and a commitment to doing the work, we rebuilt our marriage from the ground up.

Meet Your Marriage Mentors | Rommel Anacan
As a pastor, speaker, and mentor, Rommel loves walking with people on a Jesus-centered journey to help them break free from the wounds of the past, reclaim their hearts, and rediscover their true identity.
Along the way, he's walked in the trenches with believers, preached a lot of sermons, led ministries and men's groups, facilitated retreats, offered pastoral counsel, helped couples build stronger marriages, and also serves as the vice president of Briers to Myrtles Ministries.
Beyond ministry, Rommel has spent years speaking at world-class conferences, developing leaders in top organizations, and helping thousands communicate, connect, and lead courageously from a whole heart.
But at the core of it all, his greatest passion is seeing people healed, restored, and set free in Jesus.
Meet Your Marriage Mentors | Kacy Anacan
Kacy Anacan has been described as having the heart of a shepherd.
She is sharp in discernment, rich in wisdom, has a way with words and is a trusted prophetic voice.
After a lifetime of painful events and more than a decade of being stuck in constant trauma, God's redemption, resurrection, and restoration are evident throughout her life.
Kacy is the Founder and the President of Briers to Myrtles Ministries. She has led ministries and women's groups, preached, spoken, and mentored hungry souls, and, along with her husband, supports married couples in all aspects of their relationship.
She is passionate about helping people come out of their wilderness, clinging to their Beloved, and entering the life God designed for them to live.
She also loves being a wife, mom (and dog mom!) In her free time, she enjoys writing, the beauty of creation, prayer retreats, participating in any dance party she can find, and cherishing deep connections with those she loves.
